What should I do if my AC is blowing warm air intermittently?

Start with a few quick checks, then schedule service if the air still turns warm. Common causes include thermostat issues, a dirty filter reducing airflow, a frozen coil, or an inoperative fan.

  • Set thermostat to Cool and Auto.
  • Replace a dirty filter.
  • Ensure the outdoor unit is running and clear.
  • If you see ice on lines/coil, turn the system off to thaw.
  • Check the condensate drain and breaker. If it persists, we diagnose and repair AC problems, and our 24/7 live answering can dispatch help.
